UPDATE: The tarp is being pulled, though a light rain continues to fall. Assuming it gets no heavier, the Rangers say, first pitch will take place at 9:15 p.m.

The game, starting an hour later than usual in order to satisfy requirements of MLB's television contract, will begin 45 minutes after the tarp is removed, the Rangers announced, though there is no indication yet when that will be. Check back for updates on the game's status.
