Crews are making emergency repairs to the railroad crossing on Hwy. 47 near the Anoka County Fairgrounds.

The highway is shut down in both directions between County Road 30 and County Road 31. The work is expected to be finished by 3 p.m. today.

During the closure, motorists can use the crossings at 7th Avenue or Sunfish Blvd. as a good north-south alternate.
