Tony Bennett, you just thrilled a sell-out crowd at Mystic Lake Casino on Saturday night, what are you going to do next? Fly to L.A. for the MTV Music Video Awards Sunday.

If he's in as good a voice and spirits as he was Saturday, MTV viewers will be in for a treat as Bennett pays tribute to the late Amy Winehouse. Her last recording was a duet of "Body and Soul" with Bennett that will appear on his "Duets II" album in September. Bennett has never sounded better in all his Twin Cities appearances since he made a big comeback after his Grammy-winning "MTV Unplugged" album in 1994. His voice was robust and emotional, as forceful as it's ever been, especially on the closing flourishes to nearly every song. And, as usual, he radiated such joie de vivre that you couldn't help but be swept away by the man, the voice and the romance of the words he was singing. So what if, at age 85, he can't do a full 360-degree spin anymore, his soft shoe is too soft and his set was a little shorter -- 70 minutes -- than some of his other recent Twin Cities appearances. He was a complete joy. While he did playfully mention Lady Gaga (who joins him on "Duets II"), Bennett didn't even mention the project, which includes a relatively youthful and cool cast of John Mayer, Michael Buble, Mariah Carey, Josh Groban, Norah Jones, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Queen Latifah along with old standbys Aretha Franklin and Willie Nelson. Bennett's daughter, Antonia, is not on the album but she was onstage at Mystic. This time, she opened the concert with six tunes, showing that, while she's improved and her phrasing is knowing, her voice is too thin and colorless. She also joined her dad for a duet on "Old Friends." His more important collaborator, though, was Gray Sargent, who was quietly eloquent on a few voice and guitar duets. Pianist Lee Musiker was more aggressive than his predecessor, longtime Bennett associate Ralph Sharon. The rhythm section of Harold Jones on drums and Marshall Wood on bass was swingingly supportive. Here is Bennett's Mystic set list: Watch What Happens/ They All Laughed/ Maybe This Time/ I Got Rhythm/ Cold Cold Heart/ Sing You Sinners/ Old Friends (with Antonia)/ Steppin Out with My Baby/ But Beautiful/ Just the Way You Look Tonight/ Just in Tme/ I Wanna be Around/ Once Upon a Time/ The Good Life/ For Once in My Life/ The Shadow of Your Smile/ I Left My Heart in San Francisco/ The Best Is Yet To Come/ Smile/ When You're Smiling/ Who Cares
