Famous Dave's will stage a Blues Flood Relief Benefit Concert Saturday at its Uptown location. The event runs from 1 to 6 p.m. featuring Ken Valdez, Big Walter Smith, Everson Smithson Band, and Willie Murphy.
John Fogerty will rock Mystic Lake Casino on June 17.... Jennifer Hudson's concert at Mystic Lake is now set for July 15.... Lucinda Williams plays Rochester on May 18....Tickets to Britney Spears' July 6 concert at Xcel Energy Center will go on sale May 7. Nicki Minaj will open.
Chris Cornell is still on his solo tour (he'll be at the Fitzgerald on April 24) but Soundgarden has announced four summer concerts — with more promised.... LCD Soundsystem will release a DVD of its final concert at Madison Square Garden.... Bruce Hornsby's "Bride of Noisemakers" can be heard May 2 on amazon.com and June 7 everywhere else.
