Q: What's the craziest show you've ever seen at Bryant-Lake Bowl?
A: The Faggot show, in 2004 or 2005. The band Faggot were super-loud, super-punk, super-glam, largely naked and they were just great. I'd just started working at the BLB and I didn't really know what I had booked. They seemed to be breaking all the rules, and I kept thinking, "I'm getting in trouble for this."
Q: Which local performing artist is the best bowler?
A: Elliot Durko Lynch. He has his own ball.
Q: What's a must to avoid if you want to win a BLB audience over?
A: Audience participation is complicated, though some people love it. I do it to people when I'm performing, but I hate it when someone does it to me.
Q: Excluding the BLB, what's your favorite venue in town?
A: When I need to refresh myself, I go to a Timberwolves game. I don't know if I'd call Target Center the "best venue" ... but it's exactly what I need.
