Sunday's championship: Semifinal winners, 2 p.m.

Wisconsin (32-2-4): Goalie Ann-Renee Desbiens (0.69 goals-against average) is the favorite to win the Patty Kazmaier Award, presented Saturday. The Badgers have lost in the NCAA semifinals to the Gophers each of the past three years.

Boston College (28-5-5): At last year's Frozen Four, Boston College beat Clarkson 3-2 in overtime to improve to 40-0 before losing to the Gophers 3-1 in the NCAA title game. Eagles goalie Katie Burt has 31 career shutouts.

Gophers (26-7-5): Minnesota hasn't faced Clarkson since losing the 2014 NCAA championship game to the Golden Knights in Hamden, Conn. Lee Stecklein and Kelly Pannek were named first-team All-Americas on Thursday.

Clarkson (30-4-5): Cayley Mercer, who leads the nation with 26 goals, is a top-three Kazmaier finalist. Loren Gabel had a hat trick in a 3-1 NCAA quarterfinal win over Cornell. Clarkson lost to Wisconsin 3-2 (overtime) and 4-1 in mid-October.
