Preview: The Nuggets (5-6) ended a a three-game skid Monday with a 97-92 victory at Memphis that ended the Grizzlies' eight-game winning streak. Before that, they lost games to Phoenix, Miami and San Antonio ... Denver plays 17 of its first 23 games away from Pepsi Center ... The Nuggets are 12-4 at Target Center since 2004-05. They had won eight consecutive in Minneapolis until the Wolves beat them 117-100 in March.

Players to watch: Denver starting small forward Danilo Gallinari scored a season-high 26 points in Monday's victory at Memphis. Second-year forward Kenneth Faried, named the Western Conference's Player of the Week earlier this month, had a 13-point, 13-rebound double-double against the Grizzlies ... The Nuggets' roster looks like Timberwolves West: Corey Brewer, Anthony Randolph and Kosta Koufos all are former Wolves and starting point guard Ty Lawson was drafted by the Wolves for Denver and traded on draft night 2009.

Injuries: Wolves G J.J. Barea (mid-foot sprain) is probable. F Kevin Love (broken hand), guards Ricky Rubio, Brandon Roy and Chase Budinger (all knee surgery) are out. Nuggets F Wilson Chandler (left hip) and G Julyan Stone (right hip) also are out.
