We will be unified, darn it, the DFL said Tuesday in a press release.

Well, not in so many words. But the party Tuesday afternoon alerted the press that its newly anointed candidate for governor will be on hand Wednesday, along with "all the gubernatorial candidates" and multiple DFL officials. It will be, they promise, a "DFL Unity Press Conference" after it is clear whether Margaret Anderson Kelliher, Mark Dayton or Matt Entenza will be leading the party through November.

The Independence Party's Tom Horner is also preparing for Wednesday. Although he faces a contested primary, with the most active challenge coming from Rob Hahn, he's planning news conferences all over the state the day after the election.
