Alex Relling's three second-half touchdown runs carried Mounds View to a 21-7 upset of Cretin-Derham Hall on Wednesday night in St. Paul.

Relling's most impressive carry was his last, when he broke free for a 16-yard TD run on fourth down by shedding a tackle and stiff-arming a defender before scoring with 1:09 left in the fourth quarter. It capped a 122-yard rushing night for the junior running back.

The Class 6A, No. 12 Mustangs forced three turnovers and held the No. 5 Raiders scoreless in the second half.

Raiders quarterback Jackson Crawford completed 12 of 27 passes for 96 yards and scored the Raiders' only TD on a 1-yard run late in the second quarter.

Minnetonka 21, Edina 18: The visiting Class 6A, No. 10 Skippers held off a late rally by the No. 9 Hornets. Garrett Olson's two touchdown passes led the Skippers to a 21-10 lead at halftime. Shadon Hopkins also scored a TD for the Skippers. Edina's Brock Boltmann threw an 11-yard touchdown pass and a two-point conversion to Parker Rickert with 8:31 left in the fourth quarter to get the Hornets within three points.

Delano 29, Holy Family 28: The host Tigers scored 23 points in the fourth quarter — capped by Nick Schreyer's 1-yard TD run and two-point conversion run with 30 seconds left — to overcome a 28-6 deficit and beat the Fire. Jack Paulson threw a 35-yard TD pass to Dylan Gilmer to get the Tigers within seven points. Brendan O'Connor ran for two touchdowns and caught a TD pass to lead the Fire.

New Life Academy 24, Cloquet 21: The host Eagles built a 21-7 halftime lead and held off the Lumberjacks. Zach Miller made a 25-yard field goal with 1:06 left in the third quarter to provide the difference for the Eagles. Adam Busch threw two TD passes for the Eagles.

Fridley 35, Columbia Heights 20: Prince Okolie ran for 142 yards and three TDs to lead the host Tigers past the Hylanders. Noah Couwenhoven passed for 238 yards and two TDs, and Nate Soto caught six passes for 178 yards and a TD for Fridley. Antonio Triplett ran for three TDs to lead the Hylanders.

Champlin Park 41, Andover 16: Ben Otto ran for 74 yards and two TDs and passed for 169 yards and two TDs to lead the host Rebels past the Huskies. The Rebels took control of the game by scoring 28 points in the second quarter.

St. Paul Highland Park 21, St. Paul Central 14: Amitri Collins-Westlund rushed for three TDs, including a 64-yarder to break a 14-14 tie in the fourth quarter, as the visiting Scots beat the Minutemen.

Prior Lake 21, Hopkins 3: The visiting Lakers forced turnovers on the first three Royals possessions and built 14-0 lead. Tyler Knutson led the Lakers with two interceptions and a touchdown catch.

Maple Grove 38, Shakopee 17: Brad Davison threw four touchdown passes and ran for a TD to lead the No. 8 Crimson past the Sabers in Shakopee. Ky Carlson caught two of Davison's scoring passes, including a 64-yard reception. Ryan Hanscome caught one TD pass and ran for another score for the Crimson.
