Greetings from Bankers Life Fieldhouse, where the Wolves will play the Pacers in about 45 minutes.

Here are a couple pre-game updates:

1.According to coach Flip Saunders, center Gorgui Dieng is OK to go after missing Monday’s practice with a sore throat. It’s a good thing, considering the Wolves need somebody to guard Roy Hibbert.

2.Saunders said that the trio of players who returned to practice Monday – Nikola Pekovic, Kevin Martin and Ricky Rubio – had no unusual soreness after working out hard. Pekovic and Martin appear on a track to return before Rubio, who hasn’t been cleared for full-contact practice yet. That being said, Saunders said he didn’t expect either Martin or Pekovic to play on the four-game road trip that opens here tonight. That could change, though, after a couple good practices in Arizona.

3.There is still a possibility Pek will get a brief D-League assignment before returning to action with the Wolves, but that possibility appears less likely after listing to Saunders pre-game. He said Pek is further along than he had thought.

4.Tonight’s starting lineup: Chase Budinger, Dieng, Andrew Wiggins, Mo Williams, Thaddeus Young.
