DETROIT – The Gophers announced that former coach Jerry Kill will be their honorary captain for today's Quick Lane Bowl against Central Michigan.
Kill will be here at Ford Field, and I'm told his plan is to watch from the sidelines, as he did for the Nov. 28 game against Wisconsin.
Kickoff for this one is at 4 p.m., on ESPN2.
Here's my preview story, and here's The Call, with a look at the matchups and my prediction.
The Gophers are wearing gold helmets, maroon jerseys and gold pants.
