Power line project brings delays on 494 in Newport

Both directions of I-494 between Maxwell Avenue and Carver Avenue in the southeast metro will reduced to a single lane from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday as Xcel Energy crews string power lines.

Both directions of I-494 between Maxwell Avenue and Carver Avenue in the southeast metro will reduced to a single lane from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday as Xcel Energy crews string power lines.

Expect delays through the area.
