1. SAMUEL DEDUNO: We saw Scott Kazmir step up the couple times the Twins had runners in scoring position and get out of potential jams. Samuel Deduno's moment came in the seventh when he through a breaking ball over the middle of the plate to Mark Reynolds that became a double. Instead Deduno walked Lonnie Chisenhall, who entered the game with THREE walks in 106 plate appearances. Deduno messed up what should have been a solid outing right there. The bullpen could have stranded those inherited runners too, but one grounder got through the infield and Kipnis blooped one over Jamey Carroll at short.

2. DOZIER WANTS TO BAT LEADOFF. Brian Dozier hopes he's more than a leadoff option against lefthanded starters. ``Yes sir," he said. ``I'm seeing the ball good." Dozier homered for the third straight game and now has moved into a tie with Joe Mauer for third on the team with seven homers. I hope Twins manager Ron Gardenhire just rides the wave and leaves Dozier in the leadoff spot.

3. ODD PLAY: Jason Kipnis' sacrifice fly to Dozier in the third inning was just the third sacrifice fly to second in the league this season. It was the second for the Indians, as Mike Aviles pulled one off this season. Toronto's Jose Bautista has the third.
