Police are poring over "a great number of leads" in pursuit of a woman in her 20s who dressed herself in black and held up a Minneapolis credit union, authorities said.

The heist, during which the suspect intimated that she was armed, occurred about 1:20 p.m. on March 23 at the Firefly Credit Union in the Seward neighborhood, police said.

The woman walked into the credit union at 2535 27th Avenue S., just south of Matthews Park, demanded money from a teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. She was last seen running south on 27th.

The suspect, described as white, 22 to 30 years old, 130 to 140 pounds, with blond hair. She was wearing black yoga pants, a black sweatshirt that zippered in front with a hood pulled up, dark sunglasses and mostly black gym shoes.

"We have a great number of leads we have received through CrimeStoppers, and we are exceptionally busy following up on those," police spokesman John Elder said Saturday night.
