Minneapolis police are investigating three assaults that occurred early Sunday near the University of Minnesota.
About 2 a.m. at 17th and University avenues SE., a man was assaulted when he asked a group of approximately 20 men to leave his front yard, according to a university crime alert.
A short time later, the group of men attacked a second victim walking down University Avenue, the e-mail said.
Neither victim was hurt.
In the third incident, a smaller group of men assaulted three people. One required medical attention, the crime alert said.
