Hitting the road this weekend for another busy summer that will take them everywhere from Bonnaroo to Brighton before ending at Bumbershoot, Twin Cities vibro-rock champs Poliça will also have new product to take with them.

The band is about to issue an expanded edition of last year's sophomore record, "Shulamith," featuring four new tracks. Fans who already own the record can also just go for a 10-inch vinyl/digital version of the "Raw Exit EP," featuring those four bonus cuts.

The title track of the EP has already been issued online (and is posted below). An uptempo and spastically funky jam, it may be the nearest Chris Bierdan has come to playing slap-bass, but it also boasts the deceptively downbeat refrain, "Who's ready to die alone?" Also on the EP are two more new songs, "Baby Blue" and "Great Regret," plus a recording of the band's previously viral cover of Leslie Gore's "You Don't Own Me."

Poliça doesn't have any hometown gigs on the calendar at the moment, so feel free to go catch them in Ewijk or Dusseldorf.
