1966 in St. Louis: Sam Mele. NL won 2-1 in 105-degree heat for a day game at the new Busch Stadium. Baltimore's Brooks Robinson (three hits) was game's MVP.

1988 in Cincinnati: Tom Kelly. AL won 2-1, with Frank Viola getting the win and Oakland's Terry Steinbach (with a home run in first All-Star at-bat) as the MVP.

1992 in San Diego: Kelly. AL routed NL starter Tom Glavine and won 13-6. Ken Griffey Jr. was 3-for-3 with a home run and was the MVP.
