Plains Warming

The days are numbered for a cold spell that has gripped the northern Plains andMidwest this past week. Warmer air will slowly build out of the Southwest,edging across the Plains over the next few days.However, the Midwest will remain cold today, with temperatures lingering in the20s across much of the beleaguered region. A bit of light snow will also fallover the area.

Today and Tuesday, the milder air will spread over the High Plains.

Temperatures will reach into the 50s as far north as southeastern Montana.
