A pickup truck veered into a ditch along a rural road in central Minnesota and rolled over, tossing both men from the vehicle and killing them, Morrison County authorities said Sunday.

The crash in Pierz Township was reported to the Sheriff's Office about 2:55 a.m. Saturday.

The victims were identified as Nathan Brill, 24, and Nicholas Kroll, 25, both of Pierz.

The truck was heading east, crossed the centerline and went into a ditch on the left side of the road before it struck a road approach and went airborne, the Sheriff's Office said.

The truck then rolled and both occupants were thrown from the truck. The two men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities did not say which of the men was driving at the time of the crash.

Given the time of night and the remote area where the wreck occurred, the Sheriff's Office is asking that anyone with information about the crash to call authorities at 1-320-632-9233.
