Man cutting trees west of Twin Cities dies

A 63-year-old man died while cutting trees west of the Twin Cities, authorities said Wednesday.

The incident occurred midday Tuesday about 2½ miles west of Lester Prairie in the 4600 block of 180th Street, according to the McLeod County Sheriff's Office.

The man was from Green Isle, Minn., according to emergency dispatch audio that initially reported the incident as a fatal crash. His identity has not been released.

The Sheriff's Office said that preliminary information indicates he died from natural causes.
