Perishable Pundit weighs in on editorial, study

March 12, 2009 at 7:37PM

Respected food safety commentator Jim Prevor, also known as the Perishable Pundit, gave a nice shout-out in his blog to a recent Star Tribune editorial about a pioneering University of Minnesota consumer food safety tracking survey. Prevor's well-regarded site also followed up with one of the editorial's key sources: Jean Kinsey, Co-Director of the Food Industry Center, U of M professor in applied economics and principle investigator on the tracking study. The Perishable Pundit's Investigator and Special Projects Editor Mira Slott did an interesting question-and-answer session with Kinsey on the study, which is unique in that it provides continuous information about consumer attitudes.
