Wolves center Nikola Pekovic will not play again this season, coach Flip Saunders announced Monday. Pekovic has been sidelined because of an ankle injury for the past 10 games prior to the Wolves matchup against the Jazz. He played a career-low 31 games this season and hasn't played more than 60 games in consecutive seasons.

Pekovic averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds a game, shooting a career-low 42.4 percent from the floor. The season can't end soon enough for the Wolves, who have been plagued with injuries all season.
