Pedestrian killed while crossing road in Anoka

A woman was killed Monday night when she was hit by a car while crossing at the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Thurston Avenue in Anoka.

The driver, who was eastbound on Hwy. 10, stopped and cooperated with investigators. Police don't suspect drugs or alcohol were involved in the case.

Police have not yet identified the woman.
