Pedestrian-car crash on Hwy. 13 in Burnsville kills 50-year-old Richfield man

A pedestrian was killed late Tuesday in a crash with a car on Hwy. 13 in Burnsville.

Killed was Paul R. Dmitruk, 50, of Richfield, the State Patrol said on Wednesday.

The crash, involving a 1998 Toyota Camry, happened about 11:50 p.m. near the intersection with Washburn Avenue S.

The Toyota, being driven by Todd E. Poeuk was headed south on Hwy. 13 in the left lane when it hit the pedestrian, who was in the lane, the State Patrol said. Poeuk, 46, of Savage, did not appear to be hurt, the patrol added.
