With his eighth and final State of the State address under his belt, Gov. Tim Pawlenty cast his focus beyond Minnesota and wrapped up his day Thursday with a couple of national broadcast appearances, tossing in an op-ed in the Washington Post for good measure.

Pawlenty, still steadfastly in his I-don't-know-if-I'm-running-for-president mode, hit Sean Hannity's show on Fox News and Dennis Miller's radio show.

On Hannity's show, Pawlenty slammed the pending jobs bills in Congress as a boondoggle and ripped President Obama for distracting the country in a misguided push for health care overhaul.

That pivoted off his op-ed about health care, in which he reiterated GOP ideas for reform (including tort reform and interstate health insurance availability), concluding "conservatives should lead the way" in any overhaul effort.

Probably least-noticed, but most intriguing, was Pawlenty's appearance on the radio show hosted by Miller, a former comedian. Amid his patented complaints about taxes and government spending, Pawlenty talked about his future plans:
