Surprise. Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty says President Obama's proposal for a spending freeze just won't cut it.
"It's kind of like somebody eating three Big Macs and then deciding they are going to control their weight by ordering a diet coke," he said on Fox News Tuesday night. In a new stance, Pawlenty said Obama could have offered all Americans a one year tax holiday for the cost of the stimulus, TARP and bailouts.
He also offered a little sports commentary. He said he was in "mourning" because, "our beloved Vikings beat themselves."
