In his latest step on the march toward a presidential run, former Gov. Tim Pawlenty has leased an office in Minneapolis that would serve as his presidential campaign headquarters.
The office, which will currently house his presidential exploratory committee, is a 5,000-square-foot space that previously belonged to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal reported.
A Pawlenty adviser confirmed the committee has purchased leased office space located at One Financial Plaza at 120 S. 6th St.
With an exploratory committee, Pawlenty is allowed to begin acquiring office space and hiring staff for what would become his presidential campaign.
