MLB career: 21 seasons (15 in Milwaukee, three in Toronto, three in Minnesota), 3,319 hits (10th all-time), 605 doubles (11th all-time), .306 career batting average. Seven-time All-Star, twice MVP runner-up (1979, '94). Elected to National Baseball Hall of Fame on first ballot in 2004.

Post-playing career: Twins bench coach, 2000-01; Mariners hitting coach, 2004; Twins minor league baserunning/infield coordinator 2003, 2005-13; Twins coach 2014.
