Vikings rookie wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson made little impact in his NFL debut Sunday in Detroit primarily because the first-round pick didn't get much opportunity to showcase his talent.

Patterson played only five offensive snaps, according to the official stats package distributed by the league. He was targeted once as a receiver, which he turned into a 10-yard reception.

Patterson returned two kickoffs for 54 yards after watching the first five result in touchbacks.

Patterson was listed on injury report last week becaue of an issue with his back. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday and had full participation Friday.

Leslie Frazier has his press conference today at 12:30 p.m. so we'll try and get more clarity.
