A New Prague man remains jailed Sunday on suspicion of being drunk when he rolled his vehicle late at night and killed a passenger.

The crash occurred about 11:20 p.m. Thursday to the southeast of New Prague on 141st Avenue in Lanesburgh Township, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Jesse D. Brown, 34, was jailed the next morning and awaits potential charges of criminal vehicular homicide and drunken driving. He's being held without bail.

Killed in the crash was Jarrett F. Luethe, 26, of Sparta, Wis. Luethe was married and the father of children, according to his family.

"I wish to thank everyone that thought about me and my family in this terrible tragedy," Luethe's father, Terry Luethe, wrote on Facebook. "My son was a wonderful blessing in this world. He was a hard-working man who took care of his family in every way possible. I will miss him more than I can put in to words."
