'WE HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD'

The latest exhibition from darkly whimsical artists Cheryl Wilgren Clyne and Alex Kuno features an apocalyptic theme, with scenes of abandon, destruction and transcendence. Fittingly, the show's closing party lands on Dec. 21. Kuno's latest pieces depart slightly from previous work, trading in his cast of disturbed children for quietly chilling images of ships crashing into icebergs and M.C. Escher-like structures that suggest a world free of humankind. (6-9 p.m. Fri. Air Sweet Air Gallery, 262 E. 4th St., No. 203, St. Paul. www.airsweetair.org.)

THE END OF THE WORLD WITH GRANT CUTLER

Described as a "big, new age jam" with projected visuals and electro-acoustic instrumentation, Cutler's work will be performed by a live band, with opening sets from Zoo Animal and Anonymous Choir.
