- Trevor Crowe stole second. Runner on second with none out and Shin-Soo Choo at the plate.
- Shin-Soo Choo singled to center. Runners on first and third with none out and Austin Kearns due up.
- Austin Kearns walked. Bases loaded with none out and Russell Branyan due up.
- Russell Branyan single to right scored Trevor Crowe. Bases loaded with none out and Jhonny Peralta due up.
- Joe Nelson enters the game for the Red Sox with the bases loaded and none out.
