A woman who was found dead in a Plymouth home on Monday has been identified as Susan Marie James. James, 59, died as the result of a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner.
James lived in the house on 50th Avenue N., where police found two dead bodies. Officers were called to the house for a welfare check after one of the two people hadn't shown up for work, according to Plymouth police.
Officers entered the home and found the body of James and that of a man who has not been identified.
At least one of the deaths is being investigated as a suicide, police said.
The manner of James' death is still under investigation by the Plymouth Police Department.

This ancient tree is one of the oldest in Minnesota. The warming climate might kill it.
The Legacy Tree, a northern white cedar, has withstood dozens of windstorms, endured drought, dodged fires and even escaped the lumber mill, which leveled the surrounding forest. It is a bridge to Minnesota's past — but it may not survive Minnesota's future climate.
