One man was killed and another critically wounded following a domestic dispute Saturday in a north Minneapolis home, authorities said.
Officers responded to a request to check on a man screaming for help around 12:10 p.m. in the 1500 block of Queen Avenue N., police said.
"Officers learned that an altercation happened inside the house that resulted in both parties receiving substantial injuries from straightedge objects," a police news release read.
Both men, who have not been identified, were taken to North Memorial Medical Center, where one died.
Police have yet to say whether an arrest has been made in connection with the violence or who caused the fatal injuries.
