A single-vehicle crash killed one person late Friday in Arden Hills, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The driver's Dodge Stratus ran off the road after 10 p.m. at Interstate Hwy. 694 near Snelling Avenue, the patrol's report said. The car then hit a guardrail before striking a bridge pillar. The driver died at the scene.

No one else was harmed in the accident. The patrol said it would release the driver's identification by Monday.
