Nunez back in lineup, but Sano isn't, as Twins try to win series today

Third baseman gets a break after error-filled stretch; game will begin after Hall of Fame ceremony.

Twins players were told they didn't need to arrive at Target Field until 11:30 this morning, about two hours later than for a normal day game, so the clubhouse was virtually empty when Paul Molitor posted his lineup card for today. It's going to be a busy day for the Twins, though: First, another Hall of Fame ceremony, this one to honor longtime broadcaster John Gordon, then at 1:35, the series finale against the Indians, then a flight to Detroit, where they begin a seven-day road trip on Monday.

Eduardo Nunez is back in the lineup, even after taking a hard grounder to the chest Saturday night. Somehow, he managed to start a critical double play, even though he said he couldn't breathe after the impact. He laid on the ground for a couple minutes, but remained in the game. Didn't get much sympathy, though.

"My teammates were making fun of me in the dugout," Nunez laughed.

Byron Buxton, Joe Mauer and Miguel Sano are out of the lineup today, the latter two after producing the game-winning rally at 12:30 a.m. last night. More notable, Sano gets a break from third base after extending his streak of errors -- seven in his last eight games -- with two more last night.

Here are the lineups for today's game, in which the Twins will try to win a third straight series from the first-place Indians.
