DULUTH – Ben Everhart threw four touchdown passes as Minnesota Duluth defeated St. Cloud State 34-21 in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football game on Thursday night.
Everhart was 10-for-19 for 183 yards for the Bulldogs (3-2, 1-0 NSIC). He completed two 52-yard scoring passes in the first half, one to James Conner and the other to Dominic Bonner.
After the Huskies (3-1, 0-1) scored on Joe Blando's 2-yard run early in the third quarter, Everhart found Bonner again on a 9-yard TD pass.
St. Cloud State's Justin Czech threw for 207 yards and two TDs.
UMD has won 12 of the past 14 meetings in this series.
