Theft. A trailer and two all-terrain vehicles were stolen from a driveway on the 200 block of 144th Lane NW.

AUG. 23

Burglary. Two purses were stolen from the 13400 block of Hummingbird Street NW. Entry was gained by using the garage door opener in an unlocked vehicle.

Theft. A bicycle was stolen from the 7200 block of 117th Avenue.

AUG. 15

Theft. License plates were stolen near Cleveland and Larpenteur avenues.

AUG. 17

Traffic. An 81-year-old man was arrested near Snelling and Larpenteur avenues for driving sans a valid driver's license.

FRIDLEY

AUG. 19

Domestic. An officer responded to a home on the 500 block of 54th Avenue NE. on a report of a verbal domestic argument. An officer mediated the dispute over putting flea collars on cats.

AUG. 20

Check welfare. Officers responded to a home on the 4800 block of 2-1/2 Street NE. on a report of a 911 hang-up call. A female resident determined it was her children playing with the phone.

AUG. 21

Animal complaint. Officers responded to 7th Street NE and Cheri Lane NE. on a report of a large pet tortoise roaming around. The tortoise, named "Zoom-Zoom," was reunited with its owner.

HUGO

AUG. 16

Neighbor complaint. A resident in the 5000 block of 159th Street told authorities the employee of a lawn care company sprayed him and his dogs on purpose. The resident said his dogs were in his backyard while the neighbor's yard was being treated. When they started barking he went to get them and at that point was sprayed. He was advised to contact the company if he or the dogs developed health issues.

LAUDERDALE

AUG. 17

Prostitution. A 47-year-old woman was arrested and cited for prostitution and disorderly conduct in the 1700 block of Pleasant Street.

MAPLEWOOD

AUG. 16

Traffic. A 65-year-old man was cited for no proof of insurance after being pulled over moving violations in the McKnight Road and Larpenteur Avenue.

AUG. 18

Assault. A 59-year-old woman was booked for assaulting an officer and obstructing the legal process during a domestic assault call in the 2000 block of English Street.

NEW BRIGHTON

AUG. 18

Warrant. Police responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of County Road D arrested a 36-year-old woman on a warrant.

Auto theft. A Winnebago motor home was stolen in the 2000 block of Silver Lake Road.

RAMSEY

AUG. 9

Check welfare. Officers responded to a home on the 14200 block of Tungsten Way NW. on a report of a 911 hang-up call. A resident said a child had dialed 911 while playing with the phone.

AUG. 10

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a home on the 6300 block of 144th Avenue NW. on a report of a possible burglary. Officers found it was the homeowner selling items to a friend.
