APRIL 3

Theft. A flashlight was stolen from a vehicle in the 8500 block of Able Street NE.

Indecent exposure. An intoxicated 66-year-old female was allegedly exposing herself to neighbors in the 1200 block of Central Avenue NE. She denied doing it.

EAST BETHEL

APRIL 8

Theft. A cellphone left unattended was stolen from the 23700 block of Highway 65 NE.

HAM LAKE

APRIL 3

Driving violation. A 29-year-old man was arrested for criminal vehicular operation after hitting a squad car at a traffic stop at Bunker Lake Boulevard NE. and NE. Pierce Street.

Theft. A lawn mower was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 17800 block of NE. Lever Street.

LAUDERDALE

APRIL 4

Burglary. Thirteen air conditioning units were reported stolen from a building in the 1600 block of Snelling Avenue, after a man was seen taking one from the building. Two men were later booked and arrested for burglary.

MAPLEWOOD

APRIL 8

Traffic violation. A driver was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt and cited for having no proof of insurance, near Interstate 94 and Hwy. 61.

MOUNDS VIEW

APRIL 9

Property damage. Two tires were slashed on a vehicle in the 5000 block of Irondale Road.

Burglary. Copper piping was stolen from a vacant home in the 5200 block of Brighton Lane.

APRIL 11

Drugs. A 22-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving after suspension following a traffic stop at County Road 10 and Edgewood Drive.

NEW BRIGHTON

APRIL 3

Criminal damage to property. Tires were reported slashed on vehicles parked in the 1400 and 1500 blocks of 21st Avenue.

NEWPORT

APRIL 7

Animal concern. A worried resident in the 1900 block of 8th Avenue called about two turkeys in her yard. She was advised to scare the birds away to avoid problems with her dogs.

OAK GROVE

APRIL 2

Drunken driving. Officers stopped a vehicle for an illegal lane change at Viking Boulevard NW. and NW. Yellow Pine Street. They found the driver was a 13-year-old, with the 33-year-old father in the passenger seat. The father failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for drunken driving and child endangerment. The child was released to the mother.

ST. ANTHONY

APRIL 5

Theft. Two suspects stole $100 in cash out of a tip jar at Caribou Coffee, 2700 39th Av.

APRIL 8

Theft. A dirt bike was stolen from a driveway in the 2600 block of 29th Avenue.

WOODBURY

APRIL 2

Theft by swindle. A woman reported that her elderly mother had been scammed into sending $3,800 to someone claiming to be her jailed grandson in Bogota, Colombia. A bank employee contacted the daughter.
