Theft. Police contacted a man who had left a gas station in the 1300 block of Larpenteur Avenue without paying for his gas. The man told police he thought he had swiped his card and agreed to return to complete the payment.

FRIDLEY

FEB. 29

Assist public. Officers responded to a report from the 600 block of Mississippi Street NE. regarding a boy refusing to buckle his seat belt and wanting to run away. When officers arrived, the 7-year-old boy buckled his seat belt and left with his parent.

Suspicious activity. A man walking along with a rifle over his shoulder was reported in the area of Ironwood and Irish avenues. When asked by a deputy if he was hunting the man said no, the gun was not loaded and he was just exercising his Second Amendment rights.

Property damage. A type of oil was put into the tank of a truck at a business in the 4700 block of Old Hwy. 8.

Theft. A 20-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting in the 100 block of Silver Lake Road.

Suspicious activity. Someone reported a group of juveniles with pick axes throwing snow in the 15000 block of Bluestem Lane. A deputy advised the juveniles to build a snow fort on their own property.

Theft. A trailer was stolen from property in the 6200 block of 187th Avenue NW.

OAK GROVE

FEB. 6

Burglary. A wallet was stolen from an unsecured home in the 700 block of 192nd Avenue NW.

FEB. 13

Drunken driving. A 41-year-old Ramsey man was arrested for drunken driving in the 19500 block of Rum River after he was rescued from the river by civilians. He had been driving a snowmobile.

Littering. A 21-year-old woman was arrested and cited for throwing a lit cigarette in the street at 39th Avenue NE. and Apache Lane.

Theft. A purse and backpack were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3000 block of Old Hwy. 8.

WOODBURY

FEB. 12

Suspicious activity. A man was observed pouring liquid on a parked vehicle in the 10000 block of Hudson Road. The man told an officer he was pulling a prank on a co-worker by pouring water on her vehicle to make the windows freeze up. The co-worker advised that it was no problem and that she would have the man scrape off the ice.
