Theft. Soccer equipment was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 3400 block of 142nd Avenue NW.

SEPT. 13

Theft. A trail camera was stolen from property on the 18100 block of Jenkins Street NE.

SEPT. 14

Drugs. Officers responded to the 1300 block of 187th Lane NE regarding a suspicious vehicle. During a search, officers located narcotics and arrested a man, 31, and a woman, 32, for possession of a controlled substance.

SEPT. 17

Theft. Someone stole the garage door opener from a vehicle in the 1900 block of Simpson Avenue, then entered the garage and stole a bike.

SEPT. 11

Theft. Two ATVs and a trailer were were stolen from property on the 1400 block of 165th Avenue NE.

Burglary. Electronics were stolen from an unsecure home on the 1200 block of Pinewood Drive NE.

SEPT. 18

Theft. A lawn mower was stolen from property on the 9000 block of Viking Boulevard NE.

MAPLEWOOD

SEPT. 16

Theft. Gasoline was reported siphoned from a vehicle parked in a lot in the 2400 block of Maplewood Drive.

OAKDALE

SEPT. 11

Suspicious activity. A woman and three kids were reported carrying a desk into a wooded area near Granada Avenue and Garden Boulevard. An officer contacted the woman, who explained they brought the desk to the woods to build a fort. The officer had her remove the desk from city property.

SEPT. 13

Neighbor complaint. A resident in the 5600 block of Hadley Avenue reported an upstairs neighbor cleaned a gerbil cage on an outside deck and the dirty shavings ended up on their deck below. An officer advised the complainant to contact building management.

SEPT. 14

Neighbor dispute. A woman in the 2400 block of Helmo Place complained that her neighbor hits golf balls into a nearby pond. She said she is concerned about the safety of her dogs. An officer advised the neighbor to stop hitting balls into the pond.

RAMSEY

SEPT. 9

Theft. Someone cut down an oak tree and stole the wood from the yard of a home on the 15800 block of Nowthen Boulevard NW.

SEPT. 10

Burglary. Appliances were stolen from an unlocked garage of a new home under construction on the 14600 block of Quicksilver Street NW.

Drugs. A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, motor vehicle theft, possession of marijuana, open bottle and driving after suspension after he was stopped for making an illegal U-turn on the 5700 block of Highway 10 NW.

WOODBURY

SEPT. 18

Suspicious activity. Police received reports of two males possibly casing homes in the 200 block of Pendryn Hill Circle and the 1000 block of Autumn Alcove. An officer contacted the two, who were leaving bags of Hy-Vee coupons and samples on the doors of homes to promote the store's opening.
