Theft. A longboard skateboard was stolen from the 7200 block of Mill Road.

OCT. 14

Traffic. A motorist in the area of Larpenteur Avenue and Fry Street was given a verbal warning for driving without headlights.

OCT. 17

Traffic. A motorist in the area of Larpenteur Avenue and Coffman Street was arrested for giving false information to police, driving after cancellation, having no proof of insurance, displaying tabs belonging to another vehicle and expired registration.

OCT. 18

Parking violation. Police had a vehicle towed from the 1700 block of Pascal Street after chalking the tires several days earlier.

MAPLEWOOD

OCT. 15

Suspicious activity. A man who appeared to be hiding behind a dumpster was reported in the 1800 block of North St. Paul Road. It was determined that the man was changing a flat tire.

MOUNDS VIEW

OCT. 29

Disorderly conduct. A 33-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing in the 4000 block of Glenhaven Lane.

OCT. 30

Drugs. A 27-year-old woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at County Road I and Quincy Street.

Drugs. A 32-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was found sleeping in a vehicle in the 2200 block of Knoll Drive.

Burglary. Medications were stolen from a home in the 7900 block of Greenwood Drive. Entry was gained through an unlocked back door.

OCT. 13

Suspicious activity. A clown mask was reported in a classroom at Tartan High School, 828 Greenway Av.

Suspicious activity. Two males in clown masks were reported jumping in front of vehicles in the area of Greenway Avenue and 5th Street.

OCT. 14

Theft. A man was cited for shoplifting after he was observed consuming soda and a bag of candy and then paying for other merchandise at Mills Fleet Farm, 5635 Hadley Av.

OCT. 19

Public intoxication. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person at Freedom Valu Center, 3810 Silver Lake Road. A 50-year-old man with a .31 alcohol concentration was taken to a detox facility.

Traffic violation. A 25-year-old man was arrested and cited for driving after revocation, having no proof of insurance, possession of a hypodermic needle and defective equipment following a traffic stop at 37th Avenue NE. and Stinson Boulevard NE.

OCT. 24

Assault. Officers responded to a report of a man inhaling carbon dioxide containers at Target, 1650 New Brighton Blvd. A 41-year-old man was arrested for assault and obstructing law enforcement after resisting.

WOODBURY

OCT. 20

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 8900 block of Highview Lane told police she had found her garage door open after closing it the night before. She said there were three vehicles in the garage and nothing appeared to be missing. An officer told her that similar reports had been filed by others, and recommended resetting her garage door opener code.
