Theft. Concrete was stolen from a construction site in the 4300 block of Ball Road NE.

DEC. 18

Drugs. A 21-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle after he was found sleeping in the vehicle in the 1000 block of University Avenue NE.

DEC. 21

Theft. A 41-year-old woman reported that cash she was given for a ring she had arranged to sell turned out to be counterfeit. A man left with the ring after the transaction in the 1200 block of NE. Ulysses Street.

HUGO

DEC. 11

Suspicious activity. Authorities responded to a report of a home security system detecting motion on the main floor of a residence in the 4000 block of 158th Street. Deputies found nothing suspicious while clearing and securing the home.

DEC. 13

Suspicious activity. Three people were discovered in a home under construction in the 12000 block of Foxhill Avenue. They told deputies they were exploring the home and smoking marijuana. One of the three was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.

LAKE ELMO

DEC. 11

Suspicious situation. Objects wrapped in gray material were reported left on a roadside in the area of Inwood Avenue and 21st Street. Authorities found it was three bags of garbage and notified the Public Works department.

MAPLEWOOD

DEC. 14

Warrant. A juvenile runaway was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the 1600 block of Rosewood Avenue.

DEC. 16

Theft. Someone attempted to steal pallets from a business in the 1700 block of Beam Avenue.

NEW BRIGHTON

DEC. 13

Criminal damage to property. A resident in the 3000 block of Seminary Drive reported that someone was cutting the Christmas lights outside their home.

RAMSEY

DEC. 5

Check welfare. Officers responded to a home in the 15700 block of Saint Andrews Lane NW. regarding a 911 hang-up call. It was discovered that children were playing with the phone.

DEC. 7

Assist public. A 26-year-old man in the 15200 block of NW. Uranium Street reported that his sister had opened his mail delivered to her home, and wanted her charged. He was advised to complete a change of address form and submit it to the postal service.

DEC. 8

Civil. A woman from the 6000 block of 146th Lane NW. reported that her soon-to-be ex-husband was refusing to return her vehicle. She was advised that it was a civil matter.

DEC. 9

Medical. An intoxicated 46-year-old man was taken to the hospital by ambulance after he fell over a railing at a home in the 6800 block of 156th Avenue NW.

WOODBURY

DEC. 13

Suspicious activity. A man reported a lot of people walking their dogs in the area where he was waiting for a taxi. An officer responding to the call did not observe any dog walkers.

DEC. 17

Suspicious activity. A man who said he was soliciting for a security company was reported in the 8300 block of Marsh Creek Road. The security company he claimed he worked for said it had no one soliciting in the area. Police were unable to locate the man.
