Theft. A 24-year-old man was arrested for theft after he was caught shoplifting at Cub Foods, 585 Northtown Dr. NE.

FRIDLEY

FEB. 26

Parking violation. While several officers were walking to a call in the 5800 block of East River Road NE., an angry man confronted them about shining a flashlight at his car. They detained the 27-year-old man and cited him for parking in a handicap zone.

HAM LAKE

MARCH 1

Fraud. Officers responded to a report of a woman using a counterfeit bill at AmericInn, 13440 Hwy. 65 NE. They located the 33-year-old woman, found a printer and fake money in her garbage can and arrested her.

LAKE ELMO

FEB. 18

Illegal camping complaint. Authorities checking on a report of someone camping near a snowmobile shack in Lake Elmo Park Reserve, 1515 Keats Av., found a man wearing a large backpack at a fire. The man said that he takes daily walks in the park and was just leaving the shack area.

FEB. 24

Neighbor complaint. About 15 to 20 dogs were reported on a property in the 500 block of Lake Elmo Avenue. A deputy responding to the complaint found three dogs in the yard, and the homeowner admitted having two more as well.

LAKE ST. CROIX BEACH

FEB. 21

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 1500 block of Racine Avenue reported that a man came to his door, asked if his wife lived there and then attempted to shove some papers through the door. He was unsuccessful and left.

Possible burglary. Authorities checked a vacant home in foreclosure in the 1800 block of Racine Avenue after receiving a call about a side door being open. They cleared the home and determined that the door had not been forced open.

LAUDERDALE

FEB. 24

Traffic. A 31-year-old man was arrested and cited for driving after suspension, displaying license plates from another vehicle and expired registration in the area of Idaho Avenue and Eustis Street.

MAPLEWOOD

FEB. 22

Theft/Fraud. A wallet was reported stolen from an icehouse in a yard in the 2400 block of Gall Avenue. A debit card from the wallet was reported to have been used at several locations.

NEW BRIGHTON

FEB. 21

Disorderly conduct/Underage drinking. Police responding to a 911 call made in the 1900 block of Hwy. 96 arrested a 20-year-old man for disorderly conduct and underage consumption of alcohol.

ST. ANTHONY

FEB. 24

Underage drinking and driving. A 19-year-old woman was arrested for underage drinking and driving, open bottle and possession of drug paraphernalia, following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of St. Anthony Boulevard.
