Traffic violation. A driver was cited for passing on the shoulder on Manning Avenue at 22nd Street. The driver, whose registration was expired, told a deputy he knew why he had been pulled over.

Theft. An all-terrain vehicle was stolen from property in the 2700 block of South Coon Creek Drive NW.

JULY 4
Theft. A man reported $1,700 in cash missing from under his mattress in the 1600 block of 73rd Avenue NE. There were no signs of forced entry.
Animal complaint. A resident reported that two chickens were in their backyard in the 500 block of Bennett Avenue NE. A community service officer captured and relocated the chickens.
Found. A handgun was found in the backyard of a home in the 700 block of Kimball Street NE.

Theft. A woman who drove away from a gas station in the 2400 block of Larpenteur Avenue without paying for $43.39 worth of gas told police that she had swiped her card. Upon returning to the station, she was found to have no means to pay for the gas, and a friend eventually arrived to pay the bill. She was arrested and released with a citation for misdemeanor theft, driving after suspension, failure to obey a stop sign and a child restraint violation.

Improper disposal. A 43-year-old man received a warning for improperly disposing motor oil at a car wash in the 9000 block of Lake Drive.

Warrant arrest. A 28-year-old man was arrested on three misdemeanor warrants and driving after suspension following a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Rice Street.

Burglary. A computer and TV were stolen from a home in the 2400 block of County Road I. A 22-year-old man was later arrested for third-degree burglary and felony theft.

Burglary. Prescription drugs were stolen from a home in the 7700 block of Long Lake Road.
Warrants. A 26-year-old man was arrested for 14 misdemeanor warrants, all for driving after revocation, in the 2200 block of County Road I.

Disorderly conduct. A 26-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct, terroristic threats and fleeing an officer in the 1000 block of Montclair Avenue.

Theft. A firearm was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Glenhaven Lane.

Theft. An iPhone was stolen during a garage sale in the 1700 block of 3rd Street.

Theft. Flower pots were stolen from a grave site in the 7400 block of Old Viking Boulevard NW.

Disturbance. An officer responded to a report of someone yelling "Help, call 911" at 3:15 a.m. in the 5600 block of Hadley Avenue. A resident explained that she was having a nightmare and woke up yelling. She said she was fine and apologized for waking neighbors.
JUNE 24
Disturbance. A man yelling and dragging another man was reported in the 6500 block of Hwy. 36. A deputy made contact with the pair and was told the man being dragged might be suffering from heat stroke. He was taken to Regions Hospital.
