Traffic violation. A driver was cited for passing a turning vehicle on the shoulder of the road in the area of Manning Avenue and Valley Creek Road. The driver admitted she was not sure if it was legal to pass in that manner.

BLAINE

NOV. 22

Missing person. A 49-year-old woman reported her 7-year-old son was supposed to go to the neighbors' and was not there on the 11300 block of 5th Street NE. The boy returned while the officers were at the house.

NOV. 23

Theft. Money was stolen from a woman's purse while she was getting her hair done at Regency Beauty Institute, 1351 113th Av. NE.

FRIDLEY

NOV. 25

Domestic. Officers mediated a dispute between a mother and son who were having issues over the house rules at a home on the 6000 block of 5th Street NE.

Suspicious activity. Someone called police to report there is a poster of Osama bin Laden hanging on the inside of a garage in the 100 block of 83rd Avenue NE. No action was taken.

NOV. 28

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to an apartment on the 7800 block of East River Road NE. regarding a doll leaning against an apartment door. No criminal activity was observed. The doll was recovered and destroyed.

LAKE ELMO

NOV. 8

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 3000 block of Laverne Avenue reported someone driving through their yard. A deputy contacted the driver of the suspected vehicle who admitted to turning around in the complainant's driveway and getting stuck in an area under construction adjacent to it.

NOV. 10

Suspicious beverage. A group of juveniles were reported drinking Gatorade suspected of being mixed with alcohol at Oak-Land Jr. High School, 820 Manning Av. N. Two of the juveniles admitted drinking the beverage which they said was Gatorade mixed with perfume.

NOV. 15

Interruption of theft. Several men, picking up a friend to go hunting at 6 a.m., reported a man running from their friend's work truck in the 400 block of Wedgewood Drive. The passenger door of the truck was open and a pry bar was left on the scene. It did not appear that anything was taken from the truck.

MAPLEWOOD

NOV. 11

Warrant arrest. A woman was arrested on a warrant at Burger King, 1698 Rice St., along with being issued a one-year trespass from the restaurant.

NOV. 19

Theft. A generator, valued at $1,100, was stolen from a garage on the 2500 block of County Road I.

NEW BRIGHTON

NOV. 13

Theft. $500 worth of lottery scratch-off tickets were stolen from a business in the 200 block of W. County Road E2.

NOV. 15

Leaving the scene of an accident. Officers responding to a report of a hit-and-run accident in the area of County Road H2 and Silver Lake Road arrested a 60-year-old woman who had fled the scene.

RAMSEY

NOV. 8

Terroristic threats. A 24-year-old man was arrested for terroristic threats at Ramsey Market, 14911 Ramsey Blvd. NW. after an employee asked him to leave the business.

NOV. 9

Theft. Six bales of hay were stolen from the 16700 block of Garnet Street NW.
