Vandalism: Someone poured mustard, chocolate syrup and sardines on vehicles parked in the driveway of a home in the 11400 block of Kerry Street NW.

Traffic arrest: A 29-year-old man was arrested in the area of Snelling and Larpenteur avenues for failing to transfer a vehicle title within 10 days and speeding.

Medical: An intoxicated 49-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for head and leg injuries after she fell at Pickle Park, 7820 University Av. NE.
AUG. 2
Assist family: Officers responded to the 7300 block of University Avenue NE. regarding a juvenile male striking a juvenile female with a flip-flop. There were no injuries. Officers notified the parents, who said they would handle it.
AUG. 3
Suspicious activity: Officers responded to Mobile Maintenance, 505 Fairmont St. NE., at 2:21 a.m. regarding a male digging in the grass. The business was currently closed. The male told officers he was digging up sage to ward off evil spirits in his home nearby. No damage was done to the grass, so he was sent on his way.

Juvenile complaint: Someone in the area of Foxhill Avenue and Egg Lake Road reported that three juveniles had thrown apples at his vehicle and then run away.
AUG. 10
Suspicious activity: A resident in the 13000 block of Flay Avenue reported an employee of Comcast at her home to install cable television that she had not ordered. The Comcast employee told a deputy he would try to figure out who ordered the installation.
LAUDERDALE
AUG. 3
Theft: Copper condenser coils were taken out of an air-conditioning unit for a building in the 1600 block of Eustis Street. The unit was determined to be damaged beyond repair.

Neighbor complaint: A woman mowing her lawn in the 200 block of Ideal Avenue told authorities her neighbor was screaming at her and giving her the finger. She requested an extra patrol in case things got worse.
NEW BRIGHTON

Theft: An unattended laptop computer was taken from a bench outside a home in the 300 block of Oakwood Drive.
STILLWATER TOWNSHIP
AUG. 7
Noise complaint: Loud noises were reported in the area of 113th Street near Little Carnelian Park. A deputy who heard the noises determined they were coming from a shotgun and not fireworks but was unable to locate anyone shooting in the area.
WOODBURY
AUG. 10
Suspicious situation: A resident in the 3100 block of Arden Drive reported a beer bottle in their mailbox. They didn't want to touch it, fearing it might be rigged. An officer retrieved and disposed of the bottle.
AUG. 11
Dumping complaint: Stain and other deck materials were left at a construction dumpster in the 1300 block of Belmont Drive. An officer was unable to determine if someone in the area might have recently used these materials.
