North Dakota State rushed for 395 yards to eventually pull away from host Eastern Washington 40-13 on Saturday in nonconference football.

Bruce Anderson had 160 yards for NDSU (2-0) and scored one touchdown. Lance Dunn had 148 yards and three touchdowns on runs of 23, 2 and 31 yards and averaged 7.8 yards.

Bison quarterback Easton Stick was 13-for-20 for 157 yards. He didn't throw a touchdown pass nor an interception and was sacked only once. Nate Jenson caught five of his passes for 75 yards.

The Bison led 9-7 after the first quarter and 19-10 at halftime, but they scored the final 21 points of the game.

North Dakota 34, Missouri State 0: Keaton Studsrud was 22-for-31 passing for 273 yards and two touchdowns and Brady Oliveira ran for 164 yards to lead the Fighting Hawks (1-1) over the Bears in the 52nd annual Potato Bowl in Grand Forks, N.D.

With a 3-0 lead after the first quarter, Studsrud, a senior from Benilde-St. Margaret's threw a 13-yard score to Noah Wanzek and followed that up with a 3-yard pass to Wanzek to cap a seven-play, 80-yard drive for a 17-0 lead.

On Missouri State's next drive, Ray Haas picked off Peyton Husling at Missouri State's 32-yard line. John Santiago ran 19 yards for a touchdown with 4:06 remaining before halftime.
