No love for 'Guru' The British Film Institute has announced it will not be screening or promoting Mike Myers' "The Love Guru" in response to Hindu groups that have approached "film distributors, exhibitors groups, regulatory bodies, government ministries and theater owners all over the world," urging them to boycott the film until Paramount "makes necessary changes." This must come as a blow to anglophile Myers, whose best-known character is a lovable Brit.

The final reel "Nailed" gets hammered again: All Screen Actors Guild members, including stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel, were pulled off the set of the troubled David O. Russell production by the guild late last week after producers failed to show they had enough money to pay the cast. Filming did resume this week. ... We're shocked, shocked: Lindsay Lohan has been fired from the production of "The Manson Girls" because filmmakers couldn't enlist anyone else to sign on. At last report, she's still scheduled to star opposite Jack Black and David Arquette in the Renaissance Fair comedy "Ye Olde Times." ... Gore Verbinski ("Pirates of the Caribbean") will direct the videogame adaptation "Bioshock." ... Jonah Hill is in negotiations to write, produce and star in a bigscreen "21 Jump Street." Is Johnny Depp too big for a cameo? ... Werner Herzog is remaking the cult classic "Bad Lieutenant," with Nicolas Cage in Harvey Keitel's role.
