Teams' top players missing

The Lakers finally have arrived in Minnesota for the first time this season, five days from the end of the season and without star Kobe Bryant playing.

He's missing his second game in as many nights because swelling in his knee that caused him to miss Thursday's game in Denver.

Al Jefferson is out for the second straight game, too, because of person reasons. A team spokesman said he's with a a female relative hospitalized in the Twin Cities.
